L&Q holds public drop in events

In September, L&Q undertook two public drop in events to share more detailed plans for the proposed development on the Citroen Garage Site following the Family Fun Day in July. These highlighted how feedback from the local community had been incorporated into the proposals and inspired elements of the design.

The events took place at Brentford Leisure Centre on Tuesday 5th and Thursday 7th September. Attendees, including local residents and councillors, were able to speak to the design and planning team, and many shared feedback on the proposals through the Commonplace website.

The application for the proposed development on the Citroen Garage Site has now been submitted, incorporating feedback from local residents during both periods of engagement and from the Commonplace website. You can comment on the application here .

The proposed development will offer over 400 new homes, including much needed family housing and 40% affordable homes. Along with this the new development will provide a mix of studio, 1, 2 and 3 bed homes available, a nursery, and a new public plaza.
